Big Day! Three thousand boxes of cookies and a lot of basketball!
First, thank you to all of the parents that helped make this day work for our troop! There was no way to get everything done without a lot of hands pitching in. Thank you.
Heather, Cheryl and Quinn Morarend, and Christie, Amy and Abhay Anil met the cookie trucks bright and early this morning. The pictures make the task seem overwhelming but they managed to load up the Feller's house with Thin Mints, Shortbreads and Thanks a Lots.
Thank you to Christie Anil for sending the photos.

This photo reminds me, please talk to Heather about picking your cookies up from her. I'm guessing she wants her living room back. :)
Girls Scouts Day with The University of Iowa Women's Basketball Team
Thank you also to Donna and Mark Santillan for getting to Carver Hawkeye Area bright and early! While our troop trickled in after their own basketball games, we all managed to take our seats before Tip Off. The girls had a talk from Lisa Bluder (the basketball coach) and had some instructions from the cheerleaders. They also had a chance to make their own signs and get autographs. And to their great delight, Gabby nad Madelyn managed to make it on the Jumbo Tron!
Thanks to Donna for some of the photos below.
